What i HAVE noticed is that logic is sitting at 2.5 real GB right now and not crashing or giving a warning, so mountain lion must have some logic memory optimisations.

i had never used this product in anything other than logic 64 bit before, but realised after all i DO need to go to 32 bit sometimes. I do like MODO Drums, which often sells quite cheaply. Sadly as most of them were recent purchases I can recommend any with any authority.

So let's say i construct the song in 64 bit and decide i need to use something 32 bit that won't load into logic's bit bridge properly, for example, i likely couldn't load the song in 32 bit mode. This is especially useful when your drum sounds are more or less dialed in, but you want to raise the level of the ambient mics or reduce the level of the toms without going fader by fade for each move. so it's really not feasible to use in logic when i am in 32 bit mode (say when i would want to use izotope radius for example) Steven Slate Drums 5 lets you group faders kick and snare, overheads, room mics, toms, and more for broader mix strokes. PS what i do NOT like is that unless i am mistaken, UNLIKE kontakt the SSD4 has no disk streaming.
